Ever wanted to have the crunchiest, summery coleslaw ready for a barbecue or family gathering? Well, I got you. This recipe tastes exactly like a certain famous chicken establishment's, which is my favorite coleslaw of all time.

I don't know if it's possible to get nostalgia eating coleslaw, but this recipe definitely gives me hardcore nostalgia. It reminds me of eating at family picnics, sunsets on Grandpa's porch out in the country, and being a kid again. I love making it for my family when we have barbecue anything- even in the winter.

Not only is it nostalgic, it's incredibly simple to make. You can blitz the veg in a food processor and mix with the dressing, and voila! The best way to enjoy this is to let it sit in the fridge for a couple of hours ahead of whatever meal or event you're going to, so that all of the flavors meld together. This is definitely a recipe that will surprise and wow your guests as it tastes identical to The Colonel's famous coleslaw.

The best thing to remember when making this is to TRUST THE PROCESS! The ingredients may seem a little odd but they really do add a ton of flavor to the salad, especially when you leave it to marinade. Trust the process, people! And have fun, and enjoy!
